​When life is in the game

I used to be a heavy gamer.

For a period of time in my life, I do not feel that I am a resident of the real world, but a resident of a virtual world, a resident of a virtual world created by video games. I feel that the real world is not interesting, only the world of games makes me interesting.

I thought I would enjoy the world of the game for the rest of my life, until the game market is dominated by "formula open world games". When those games with themes that excite me are boring to play, when the originally interesting game world becomes boring, I start to think about why, and I start to think about why games are fun or boring. What makes the game interesting? Is it the picture? Is it a sound effect? Is it a story? Is it a role? Is it a special effect? Is it a weapon you can use in the game? Is it a vehicle that can be opened in the game? Is it the size of the game world map?

Fortunately, I learned about game design by accident, the area where creating games is the most genuinely fun. So a door to an extremely splendid world opened to me. Think about it, in fact, I've been wandering in front of the door for a long time, I'm just waiting for an opportunity to push me to open the door.

After learning about game design, I feel that everything has become different, and the world I am in has become different. Mathematics, psychology, animation, architecture, economics, programming, communication, history, these things I once felt boring, all of a sudden became interesting. Because I know that any of them may hide the inspiration and knowledge of designing games.

When playing games, I naturally encountered many challenges. When playing games, I also encountered many challenges. For me, solving the challenge of making a game is in itself playing another game. So making games is the newest and most fun game I found.

2021暑假至毕业:Studio XID兼职:交互原型设计软件protopie教程编写。
